Projects#

What kinds of projects do you take on?

We build landing pages, WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores and custom web applications. We also run performance and technical SEO audits on existing sites and offer a monthly care plan. You can see each one in detail on our services page.

How long does a typical project take?

As a rough guide, a landing page takes two to three weeks, a WordPress website four to eight weeks and a WooCommerce store six to ten weeks. Custom web applications vary widely with scope. Your proposal will include a realistic schedule, and the biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback arrive.

Do I need to have my content ready before we start?

Not before we start, but it should be ready before development reaches the point where it is needed. We send a content template early in the project so you know exactly what to prepare. If you need help with copywriting or product data, we can include it in the scope.

Will I own the website when it is finished?

Yes. Once the project is paid for, the code, content, domain and hosting accounts are yours. We use standard technologies and provide documentation, so you are never locked in to working with us.

Pricing & payments#

How much does a website cost?

Our starting prices are listed on the pricing page: from $1,490 for a landing page, $3,900 for a WordPress website and $5,900 for a WooCommerce store. The estimator on that page gives you an indicative figure for your specific project, and the proposal confirms the final price.

Do you charge fixed prices or hourly rates?

We prefer fixed prices based on a clearly defined scope, so you know the cost up front. For larger custom applications with more uncertainty, we may break the work into phases, each with its own fixed price or a transparent estimate.

How do payments work?

Projects usually begin with a deposit, followed by milestone payments and a final payment before launch. The exact schedule is set out in your proposal. Our terms and conditions and refund policy explain the details.

What if I need changes that were not in the original scope?

That is normal. We explain the impact of each change on cost and timeline in writing and only go ahead once you approve. Small adjustments within the spirit of the agreed scope do not need a formal change request.

WordPress & WooCommerce#

Why do you recommend WordPress?

WordPress is open source, widely supported and easy for non-technical people to update. That makes it a sensible choice for many content-led websites. We do not recommend it for everything, though; sometimes a static site or a custom application is a better fit, and we will tell you if so.

Do you use page builders or premium themes?

We generally build lightweight custom themes using the WordPress block editor, which keeps sites faster and easier to maintain. If you already rely on a specific page builder, we can discuss the trade-offs and work with it where it makes sense.

Can you take over or fix an existing WordPress or WooCommerce site?

Yes. We usually start with an audit to understand its condition, including security, performance, plugins and hosting, then recommend whether to repair, refactor or rebuild. Our Performance & Technical SEO Audit is a good starting point.

Which payment gateways can a WooCommerce store use?

WooCommerce supports many gateways through official and well-maintained extensions, including Stripe, PayPal and WooPayments where available. We help you choose based on your country, currencies, fees and the checkout experience you want.

SEO & performance#

Can you guarantee a first-page ranking on Google?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls search rankings. What we can do is build a site with strong technical SEO, fast performance, clear structure and structured data, which gives your content the best possible foundation.

How fast will my website be?

We design and test against Google’s Core Web Vitals “good” thresholds: Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint within 200 milliseconds and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1. Real-world results also depend on hosting, third-party scripts and content, which we advise on. Read more in our Core Web Vitals guide.

Do you help with AI search visibility?

Yes. Clear, well-structured content, semantic HTML and accurate structured data help both traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines understand your site. We cover the practical side in our article on generative engine optimization.

Support#

What happens after my website launches?

Every project includes a post-launch window for fixing defects, plus documentation and training. After that, you can manage the site yourself, work with another developer or choose our care plan for ongoing support.

What does the care plan include?

The Website Care & Maintenance Plan costs $149 per month and covers updates, off-site backups, uptime and security monitoring, and time each month for small changes. You receive a monthly summary of the work done.

How quickly do you respond to support requests?

We aim to reply to all enquiries within one business day. Care plan clients have a dedicated support channel, and urgent issues such as a site being down are prioritised.
